- Tell us about you, the author:
- I spent over 18 years in dentistry and thought I would always practice orthodontics. Fate had other plans . . . I developed a latex allergy and had to leave clinical practice. It was time to reinvent my career.
After some searching, I discovered a new way to use my education and experience. I started Books 2 Help You, a publishing company focused on providing health care books and information to help empower patients and their families. "After the Diagnosis" and "My Medical Organizer" were the first two books published. Other projects are in development. My goal is to help patients become smarter patients who are more likely to avoid medical errors and receive the care they deserve.
